Q 1:
My father died on Friday 30/07/1416 A.H., while we were on our way to the hospital. One of the people who were with me bought the shroud, after the funeral I tried to pay him its price but he swore he would not take the price,
what is the ruling in this case?
A 1:
The person who bought the shroud for your father has done a good deed. If he refused to be paid back the price, then he has done it for the sake of Allah. There is no blame on you nor on your dead father since this man intended to donate.
