Q 5: If
a person offers a Jahri Salah (Prayer performed out loud) with an Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer) and he says with the Imam "Amen" then recites Al-Fatihah when the Imam pauses, should he say "Amen"
again in his second recitation, or should he recite Al-Fatihah and not say "Amen"?
A:
A Ma’mum (a person being led by an Imam in Prayer) should say "Amen" with the Imam after the recital of Al-Fatihah in the Jahri Salah. He should say "Amen" a second time after his own recitation, but the first "Amen" is to be said loudly and the second is said subvocally.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
