Q 5:
Is it for the Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer) to greet the congregation upon entering the Masjid (mosque) to deliver the Friday Khutbah (sermon)?
A:
It is an act of Sunnah for the Imam to greet the congregation before sitting on the pulpit.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
